Priorities for West Hartford
As a Town Councilor, I have seen firsthand how decisions made at the state level affect our schools, town services, and property taxpayers. I am running for State Representative to give West Hartford a strong voice at the Capitol and ensure our community receives its fair share.
My priorities are rooted in a simple belief: government should lift people up, expand opportunity, and make life better for the people it serves.
Making Life
More Affordable
Too many families are being forced to choose between putting gas in the car and buying groceries, or between paying for the prescription they need and paying the rent.
Now, federal cuts to food assistance and the loss of healthcare subsidies are placing even more pressure on Connecticut families. At the Capitol, I’ll support practical actions to address the rising costs of healthcare, housing, and electricity and help protect families from the consequences of decisions made in Washington. I will also fight for fair state funding that reduces West Hartford's reliance on property taxes.
Supporting Our Strong
Public Schools
West Hartford's public schools are among the best in Connecticut, but our town does not receive its fair share of state education funding. Every dollar we do not receive from the state places more pressure on our local schools and taxpayers.
I will fight for West Hartford to receive the Education Cost Sharing funding it deserves, protect resources for students and educators, and oppose efforts to divert public dollars away from our public schools. Every child deserves an excellent education, regardless of their ZIP code or family income.

I’ll fight for state funding to continue West Hartford's Vision Zero work and ensure our police officers, firefighters, and first responders have the resources and technology they need.
Public safety and civil rights are not competing values. The tools used to protect our community must include strong safeguards, transparency, and public accountability. I will also stand against ICE actions that violate constitutional rights, separate families, and spread fear. We can keep West Hartford safe while protecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of every resident.
Protecting Our Rights and Our Future
What happens in Washington directly affects us here in West Hartford. I will stand up against efforts to take away reproductive freedom, threaten LGBTQ+ rights, undermine access to healthcare and food assistance, or weaken our democracy.
I will support practical clean energy policies that reduce long-term costs and move Connecticut toward a more sustainable future. I will also work to protect our natural resources and help communities prepare for the growing effects of climate change.
